Why are the comments shut off on the newspaper pages? Just curious.

But since they are....why do you have comments on the articles at all? There are some subjects that would be nice to see discussed more than just the couple of days that the articles that are at the top. It would be better if you created a forum for this and directed people to it instead. The comments on the recent drug busts were really fun to read. It's a shame they had to come to an end. If there had a been a forum for them I'm sure they would still be going. Besides lately the actual forums have really seemed to die off. I like the forums because it seems to give a consensus of what the real people in this town are thinking. It would be nice if you could get more people to be aware of them and sign up so that topics important to our area could be discussed in a place other than the letters to the editor section. Just a few thoughts...
