NPK,
Lets recap this slowly for you. First, go back up and actually read the cartoon. If you don't understand it, let me try and explain it to you. It's Governor Heineman, and the things he has been responsible for. The SAD part is that while all these things have happened, and will continue to happen, no one is stepping up to challenge him for Governor and he will most likely get reelected. These things will then not change.
Then you come on and state:
Quote:
The BSDC, Medicare, Medicaid, and the rest are what we all get to experience if the Neo-Marxists get their way!!!
I was trying to help you. In your confusion, it was clear you didn't realize you had just state that the very things that have already happened and continue to happen, you tried to say WILL happen under "Neo-Marxists" (you have not once actually attempted to explain what you actually think that word means. One can only assume you have no clue what it means since 1) you misuse it, and 2) you never explain. It's clear its a sign of a limited mind who was handed a new word and is going to use it over and over again.)
As proof of you not understanding you then state:
Quote:
Governor Heineman is no Neo-Marxist like you are Lisa. He does not favor socialized halth care. He doesn't want government intrusion into our lives, he doesn't want income redistribution, he doesn't want to muzzle all dissent, he doesn't believe in grinding taxation to reward people who have earned nothing. In short, your lame attempts to criticize the Governor highlight how bad government really is. If a state like Nebraska has bad government, what do you think MA and NJ are like!!!
So.....explain what a "neo-marxist" is, please. Not say "you are", but an actual definition that gives the historical and textual explanation of the term and what it stands for.
Second, everything you just stated had nothing to do with the cartoon. But just to let you know, when it comes to "income distribution", you must be okay that through a property tax program that Heineman approved of, a non-resident by the name of Ted Turner gets about $73,000 in taxpayer dollars to cover his property taxes every year. Must be nice. Before you get all proud of Nebraska, we have some of the highest property and sales taxes in the nation. On top of that, we are a welfare state that gets about $1.10 back for every dollar we send to the federal government.
But to help you understand the cartoon one more time, that things portrayed in the cartoon have ALREADY HAPPENED and are all at the feet of Dave Heineman, and even his predecessor, Mike Johanns. So if no one challenges him, then you can expect these things to continue under his watch. We ALREADY are experienceing these things!
