I guess it depends on your sense of humor.

And many people think Nebraska got what they deserved for firing Solich.

It'd be kinda sweet if the Vols fans get their wish, and Muschamp departs TX for Knoxville.

Yep, I think that would be a win-win. Or lose-lose depending on your perspective.

I think Muschamp is one of those guys that is a good coordinator but won't be a great HC. So the whorns lose a good DC and the Vols pick up an unproven HC.

I tend to agree -- although I am not sure why I think that he won't be....something about him.

I totally agree. People rip on Mack Brown for not winning more BCS games despite the talent down there. But maybe his assistants have something to do with that. That said, Muschamp would be stupid to turn down UT if they offer. Mack Brown isn't retiring anytime soon.

Not even a little corner of it. Lane is a loud-mouth punk, a compulsive liar, a cheater, a not very good HC, and his supposedly "hot" wife, reminds me of an over-bred collie.

Throw in aTm (Slocum) and Minnesota (Mason) into that mix of blunders as well.

OK, this is getting creepy. Sounds familiar doesn't it? I imagine if Callahan jumped shipped after one season for Iliinois or Michigan Husker fans would be ticked too.

Nonsense. I, for one, would have been dancing in the streets. :rawk: Of course, it would have miffed me that Sneaky Pete would have avoided acountability for firing a darned good coach and hiring the worst coach in CFB history, and I would have been terrified to have him get a mulligan...

Skip Holtz from East Carolina to USF

Maybe Mike Leach can go to East Carolina -- he likes pirates.

Not quite the caliber of team I expected Holtz to go to. Probably all he deserves at this point, but I expected his namesake would garner him a bit higher profile program like maybe Tennessee.
