My son went to the game without me. He was VERY impressed, even though the Ladies didn't play their best game...Turner was his fav.

Maybe the Lady Husker coach should become the Husker coach?

I'm so hoping that the lady Huskers will be meeting the lady Huskies! Now that would be one heck of showdown. Don't think the Huskers can beat them but it could be a really great game! Two undefeated teams playing for the NC? Very good stuff... I hope it really helps the Huskers to be able to recruit the best players in the country such as UCONN does now...........
As to who I'd root for... well. I'll have to take the 5th on that one but either way 1 of my teams wins a NC!!

Don't think the Huskers can beat them but it could be a really great game! The Huskers can definitely beat the Huskies. Don't know if they will, but they certainly could do it. They have three common opponents: Vermont - Huskers won 94-50 at Vermont, Huskies won 84-42 at home. Edge to Huskers. Texas - Huskers won 91-79 at home, Huskies won 83-58 at a neutral site. Edge to Huskies. Oklahoma - Huskers won 80-64 at OU, Huskies won 76-60 at OU. Push And who just went undefeated in the toughest conference in the country? http://realtimerpi.com/ncaab/conf_Women.html

Push And who just went undefeated in the toughest conference in the country? http://realtimerpi.com/ncaab/conf_Women.htmlCertainly would give a huge boost to the Womens NC game with both teams playing! Dream match up.... UCONN crushed Cuse today tying their own record of 70 wins in a row!!!! I believe the Huskies have 2 of the best players in the country and unstoppable this season. Kelsey Griffin should also be a Naismith finalist for sure. Both teams with lots of talent but I think UCONN has a much deeper bench and played in many more big games. The Lady Huskers haven't had the opportunity to really be tested in the NCAA tourney but that's all about to change. In any event I hope we get to find out which team is better on the court........

Congrats to the Husker women for all their postseason Big 12 honors! They cleaned up (as opposed to the men who got completely shut out.) All five starters were recognized along with Coach Yori: Yori - COY Griffin - POY Montgomery - 1st Team All Big 12 Turner - 1st Team All Big 12 Kelley - Honorable Mention Moore - All Freshmen Team

Congrats to Yori and the Lady Huskers! But, try as I might, I just can't get all that excited about women's basketball.
